ABOUT THIS WINE
These grapes come from 2 vineyards located in Fontenay Pres-Chablis and in Béru next to the village of Chablis. 2019 Vintage Pres-Chablis and in Béru next to the village of Chablis. The soil is kimmeridgien calcareous clay which goes back to the upper Jurassic age (portlandien). The average age of the vines is 36 years. The fruit is manually harvested, and trailers are used to transport the harvest and unload it with a vibration system to avoid crushing the grapes and oxidation before pressing. Cold settling and fermentation with a temperature of around 20°c using only natural yeasts . Vinification and aging is done 100% in stainless steel tank. Aging between 10 to 12 months.

Our family is keeping alive a tradition that has lasted for six generations.
We own 12 hectares of Chablis Grand Cru (Les Clos, Clos des Hospices which is a Moreau family exclusivity, Valmur, Vaudésir, Blanchot), Chablis 1er Cru Vaillon, Chablis and Petit Chablis. The Domaine’s modern and functional building is set up in the very heart of the Chablis country, at the foot of its famous Grands Crus vineyards.
We respect Chablis’ vineyard terroir, the only one of its kind in the world and work in a rational way to maintain our grapevines and soil, applying a comprehensive strategy for effective yield management.
Our winemaking techniques should strive to honor the high quality of our terroir, vines and grapes, bringing out the very best in every harvest. All our grapes are hand-picked, from our Petit Chablis up to our Grands Crus.
