2020 G.D. Vajra "Bricco delle Viole" Barolo, Piedmont, Italy - 1.5L MAG

ABOUT THIS WINE

"Bricco delle Viole" is among the historical vineyards of Barolo, notable for being the highest and closest to the Alps, rising from 400 to 480 meters above sea level on the western ridge of the village. Its name, "Hill of Violets," originates from the early-blooming flowers, thanks to its perfect south exposure. The vineyard enjoys the earliest sunrise and the last sunset each day, contributing to the unique character of the wine.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCER

G.D. Vajra is a family-run winery nestled in Vergne, the highest village in the Barolo region of Piedmont, Italy. The Vajra family has farmed Bricco delle Viole since the 1880s.
