2019 Siro Pacenti "Terre di Montalcino" Brunello di Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy
ABOUT THIS WINE
Produced from 100% Sangiovese grown in the rolling hills surrounding Montalcino, this Brunello reflects the exceptional balance and aging potential of the 2019 vintage. Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully vetted through optical sorting machines before a final hand-sort at the winery to guarantee only the highest quality berries. Slow, cool maceration and fermentation occur in stainless steel tanks, lasting approximately 3 to 4 weeks at a controlled 25 degrees Celsius. The young wine refines for 24 months, resting in a combination of French oak barriques and concrete tanks. Before release, the wine rests in the bottle for an additional 18 months.
